Real Stories, Timeline Photographs

Timeless Travel Photography

I'm a professional portrait photographer as well as analog travel photographer. Since 2003, when I first fell in love with the medium of photography, I’ve found the most artistic joy in walking the streets of whatever city or town I’m visiting, making photographs which both literally and metaphorical chronicle the look and feel of a place. For me, every photo - made on one of my 35mm or 120mm cameras and then developed in my kitchen - represents a memory of whatever I was experiencing in that present moment, memorialized primarily for the walls of my own home. Photography has been not only my chosen form of expression for well over half of my lifetime, but my way of learning about the world, of getting to know people and places, and even of getting to know myself. I’m excited to share a selection of my favorite prints for likeminded travel-loving folks who decorate their walls and homes with colorful, timeless landscapes and cityscapes.

20 years of Analog Photography

I first began developing my own film in our school darkroom in 2008, where I learned the ins-and-outs of black and white film development and archival printing. I began developing my own color film in 2017, which opened up a whole new world for me to explore a variety of film stocks.
